Excited about the cover, above, for my debut poetry collection, The Land of Stone and River, forthcoming January 2022 from Moon City Press! I love Nancy Martin’s work and am so happy to be able to use a detail from “New Land IV” for the cover. Check out more of her paintings!

My long short story, “Path of Service,” is now up at The Write Launch. Because of the length, it might be most comfortable to read on a laptop or tablet, or save it to Pocket and grab it on your e-reader from there. Enjoy–it’s a sad but, I happen to think, pretty funny story.

I don’t write much flash. Most of my fiction is over 6K words. But I’m happy to say that Overheard Literary Magazine will publish my first flash piece, “She Said, He Said,” in February 2022.
